NI:Sleddog 2008/06/07 22:20	\| \| The administrator has disabled public write access. X-fi and Teamspeak and COD4 bitch slapping me. K...all you trekkies and TV addicts..here's my problem and has been on-going for a while. I thought I had it licked the other night but apparently not. I've got an X-fi extreme gamer and when ever I use TS with COD4, it seems to mute my mic so no one can here me screaming; "BEHIND YOU GIB!" I've muted my mic in the task bar, playing in gaming mode, even turned off EAX effects so I don't get any reverb. I can hear you guys no problem but no-one can hear me (which might not be so bad I've searched many forums looking for answers and can't seem to find a solution. Some peeps seem to have the same problem with X-fi, TS and BF2, but no solution. Wondering if anyone can track down the solution. Keeps me from hopping in TS cuz I get fed up not being able to talk. lets see some specs are; CPU: P4 2.3 ghz MB: Asus P4P800 Mem: 2 Gigs Kingston 3200 DDR GPU: ATI X1950pro AGP 512mb running dx 9.0c OS: XP home SP2 Sound: X-FI extreme gamer, (drivers up to date) Frustration LVL: MAX. here's a TS forum link to others that share my joy. http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?p=173786
